(2)(f) Re-disturbance of a previous abandoned trail that accessed the former Jolly Pit#2
(reclaimed& closed pit) runs centerline thru the new proposed Jolly Pit#3 area. The
previous pit will not be disturbed. A portion of the west side of the proposed mining
operation will border the former Jolly Pit#2. The material was excellent, which is the
reason for this permit application. The map shows these details.
(3)(a) Permit boundary is gently sloping. Post mine gradients will be no steeper
than 3H:IV.
(3)(b) Vegetation will be established on all affected areas back to rangeland status. No shrub or
tree planting will occur.
(3)(c) No ponds are part of the reclamation plan nor shallow areas for wildlife.
(3)(d) The average thickness of replaced overburden is approximately 2 feet by reclamation
phase.
(3)(e) Average thickness of replaced topsoil is approximately 8 inches by reclamation phase.
