New Eastern Diversion ditch east of CRDS expansion area <br /> <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03, Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />TC has placed rip-rap at the outlet of the culvert the goes under the access road to the 7 North Escape <br />Shaft/Barricade Chamber near the old homestead. <br /> <br />The roads at the site were graded and maintained. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The Sagebrush Meadow ref erence area was observed. This area is unaffected and no problems were obser ved. <br /> <br />SUBSIDENCE – Rule 4.20: <br />TC had begun longwall mining in the WCR in the 9 Right LW Panel. According to Jerry Nettleton, TC is <br />preparing to conduct the required subsidence monitoring as the longwall progresses toward the railroad line. Also, <br />according to Mr. Nettleton, TC has conducted the pre-ballasting of the rail line in preparation for the projected <br />subsidence for this panel. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />The slump above the rail line near the train loadout area was observed. This area does not appear to have moved <br />significantly since the last inspection. According to Mr. Nettleton, TC’s contract engineering firm is completing <br />plans to address this slump.
