10/18/2016
State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - Re: RN -6
2004. These two have always been referred to as RDA and DWP. If there are incorrect references to them in the
permit text, I will change them. DWDA#2 or Development Waste Disposal Area #2, was permitted in 2011 primarily for
Development Waste from construction of the Bates Portal. Remaining usable space is currently used for drying
sediment from culvert and sump clean-out. DWDA#2, located at the West Portal, has received permit approval, but
has not been implemented, as it is not needed at this time and has not had reclamation bond posted. There again,
think the use of acronyms DWDA#1 and DWDA#2 have been consistent. I am open t correcting any inconsistencies
that may exist.
Regards,
Phone : (719) 859-0111
Email : ronthompson@newelkcoal.com
This e-mail transmission, and any documents, files or previous e-mail messages at and sump cleanout tached to it, may
contain information that is confidential or legally privileged.
