Exhibit D — Reclamation Plan
In the event that the mining is ceased the following reclamation plan has been established:
The site will be returned to rangeland for livestock grazing purposes. All grades will be established at or
less than a 45% grade. The affected areas will be topsoiled to a depth of 2"-6" as needed. The affected
areas will be reseeded with a blend of native perennial vegetation varieties. The area will be returned to
rangeland as it is on the corner of an agricultural field and livestock grazing is a common use of field
corners in the region.
Once the mining operation is ceased, the site grade shall be established within a 1 -year timeframe. After
the site grade has been established the area will be reseeded within an 18 -month timeframe. If an
additional seeding is needed after the first seeding, a second reseeding will take place the next growing
season following emergence of vegetation from the initial seeding.
Final grading — At or less than 45%
Seeding — Native grass mix seeded at a rate of 20 lbs/acre between March -May
Fertilization — N/A
Revegetation — None
Topsoiling — 2"-6" in exposed areas requiring topsoiling for establishing vegetation
Present vegetation types — Native perennial grasses and shrubs surround the area. Grasses 12"-36" in
height would be 80% of the affected area with the balance being low shrubs and (orbs 12"-36" in height.
The area is being farmed as a dryland rye crop.
Relationship of vegetation types to soil types —There is no noticeable association of vegetation to soil
type in the affected area.
Estimates of carrying capacity of rangeland — If returned to rangeland, the crop circle corner that is
being mined would support —1/4 AUM.
Grading and topsoiling — Fuel, depreciation and labor. All machinery work will be done in-house. Cost
estimated using $2.00/gallon diesel, $17/hour labor, and $20/hour depreciation. Projected hours for
