Continued
inspections of the area will determine if maintenance will be required. Generally, minor rilling at Colowyo self-
heals as vegetation becomes more established and the area matures.

Deep cutting was observed between the Haul Road ascent to the mine office area and the vegetation reference
area. All water reporting through this area is from undisturbed areas.

GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE:
There were small areas of noxious weeds, usually Canada thistle, but they had been treated and were showing
signs of chemical uptake and die off. None of the areas with Canada thistle would be considered an infestation.

REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15
Vegetative Cover; Timing:
Revegation was inspected along the East and West Pit. The areas inspected were initially reclaimed between 2000
and 2003. These areas were very well vegetated and diversity of vegation was extremely noticeable. Vegetation
observed include Kentucky bluegrass, Thickspike wheatgrass, Slender wheatgrass, Meadow brome, occasional
Curly cup gumweed, occasional Canada thistle, Great basin wildrye, Russian wildrye, and yarrow. Woody species
observed included Sagebrush, Rabbitbrush and Antelope bitterbrush.

East Pit reclamation.
