A portion of this time was spent at Lorencito Canyon
Mine. There was a mix of rainy and clear weather with temperatures hovering in the mid 60 degrees Farenheit.
The ground was saturated in places due to a short duration, heavy 1.8 inch rainfall the week before as well as a
powerfull rain and hail event the evening before.

The inspection included discussing adequacy questions for TR 71 and RN 6, and the verification of associated
maps for these permit revisions with Mr. Thompson. Mr. Thompson was present during the records review.
Office discussions with Mr. Louis Head included the pumping of Pond 8 by Rain Events the last week of August
29 and finishing Sept 6,and the establishment of two new reference areas one each for Lorencito Canyon Mine
and for Golden Eagle as well as the reclamation of the development waste area #2. Mr. Massarotti accompanied
me throughout the inspection of the site and Jeff accompainied me for a short time the morning of Thursday, 15
September.

PERMITTING UPDATE:
Permit Renewal RN6:
Submitted in 2013 this RN is outstanding with a current decision date of 30 September2016.
