No company representative was present <br />at the mine site and accompanied DRMS in the inspection. Weather conditions were clear and the temperature <br />around eighty five degrees fahrenheit with ground conditions dry. There was no activity at the mine site at the time <br />of the inspection. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />All records are kept at the office of J. E. Stover & Associate, Inc. in Grand Junction, Colorado. Please see the <br />Division’s Availability of Records checklist at the end of this inspection report for more detailed information. <br /> <br />BACKFILL and GRADING – Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />The portal area remains stable. The backfilled portals showed no signs of erosion or slumping. <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE – Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />The waste rock disposal area was inspected. The pile has been reclaimed and is well vegetated and stable. No <br />erosion was observed along the entire pile. The majority of the waste rock disposal area has been phase 2 bond <br />release as part of the SL-02 bond release.
