Exhibit D— Mining Plan North Pit
Currently, the active mining, crushing, and stock piles area of 22.43 acres is noted on the map in
orange color. We have not disturbed any acreage that was not already in use since taking over
the pit.
The plan is to continue mining to the North East corner of the permitted area. Approx. 9.6
acres depicted as grey area on map. As we continue to move in a North East direction, any
overburden and fines will be used for fill until we achieve elevations and grading for
reclamation. Maximum height of the highwall will be less than 30' and 30' long.
Mining will be done by using a licensed blaster and excavate material to solid rock and hauling
the material to the crusher via loader if its close or haul truck if its further away. Dust will be
controlled by a watering system. Water will be hauled up to mining site via water truck from
the river below and place in a water tank. The water tank will be clearly marked non potable
water and be used for dust control. There will be no water held on site. There will be a small
retention area at the bottom of the hill if needed.
Our plan is to keep the mined area around 20 to 25 acres. We will continue to maintain
property boundaries and continue weed control.
