What is the recharge rate of ground water?The total pond inflow rate to be pumped in <br /> addition to dewatering the 87.6 acre feet. <br /> Based on our experience with numerous pits along the Colorado River, in order to dewater a <br /> site of this size for operation, pit pumps have to run at least 3000 gpm to lower the water level <br /> from its initial level, and run at 1000-1500 gpm to maintain the dry pit floor. <br /> 58. The reclamation plan and map show two ponds to remain post mining. Unless the Division <br /> receives a copy of the well permit/application we will be required to bond for backfilling of the <br /> ponds. *Or commit to not exposing ground water until a permit is obtained. <br /> a. Number two indicated that the pit would be backfllled to the waterlevel. <br /> b. Number 5 calls for topsoiling everything,even the bottom of the ponds. <br /> c. Number 7 excludes seeding and mulching the bottom of the ponds <br /> d. This is contradictory. If no ponds are to exist then all areas should be topsoil and <br /> seeded. If ponds will exist,then all but below the waterline will require topsoil and <br /> seed. <br />
