EXHIBIT D <br /> Rule 6.3.4 <br /> Reclamation Plan <br /> (e) Other: <br /> All features of the reclamation plan have been previously addressed. <br /> (2) Reclamation Cost Estimates: <br /> Topsoil and overburden stored onsite will be pushed approximately 250' for reclamation. The <br /> site will have reached a point of maximum disturbance when rock material is depleted. <br /> Backfilling, grading,topsoil application seeking, mulching,and fertilizing may be required for <br /> reclamation. <br /> Volume and unit costs for grading, subsoil, and topsoil application is estimated at$10.00 per <br /> cubic yard. The cost per acre for seed and mulch(if required)acquisition and application is <br /> estimated at$100.00 per acre. Equipment costs including mobilization are estimated to be <br /> $100.00 per hour. <br /> Total reclamation cost is estimated to be $20,000.00. <br /> Response to Colorado Parks and Wildlife Comments <br /> Applicant has reviewed the comments submitted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW). <br /> Applicant acknowledges CPW's anticipation that the proposed Van Valkenburg Quarry will not <br /> pose any significant impact to the wildlife in the area,nor will it affect any threatened or <br /> endangered species. <br /> Applicant also acknowledges CPW's comment that control of noxious weeds will protect the <br /> habitat around the quarry site. Applicant will control noxious weeds pursuant to its Noxious <br /> Weed Management Plan described in section(c)above and Exhibit D-3. <br /> Applicant also acknowledges CPW's comment that successful reclamation with native <br /> vegetation will return the area to useable wildlife habitat at the completion of gravel <br /> development.
