Aerial photos were taken by Harry Raney while the inspection of each picture and the documention of <br />this report was done by Zach Trujillo. The puporse of this inspection was to view the mine site in its entirety from <br />an aerial view point to have a larger look at the site to ensure compliance with the Rules and Regulations. From <br />the pictures, the weather was clear and tempertures were recorded in the area around nintey degrees fahrenheit. No <br />companay representative was present during the aerial inspection. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING []Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Backfilling and grading was occurring in the West Pit at the time of the inspection. Current backfill and grading is <br />being conducted on the western facing slope. <br />Additional regard work was visible in the East Pit uphill of Pond EP2 and the Final East Pit Ditch. <br />Current backfilling operations were being conducted in the South Taylor Pit. Spoil is being transported from the <br />west end of the pit and being dumped along the eastern end. <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE []Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />The South Taylor Fill was inspected. There were no signs of rilling or gullies along the face of the pile. The pile is <br />graded in a fashion that runoff from the surface is directed to its perimeter ditches. The ditches associated with the <br />fill appear to be in good shape with no cutting or erosion.
