The v-notch weir was clear and
functional and the pond embankment was stable and vegetated. The primary and emergency spillway was clear
and functional.

The 6MN Reservoir was holding water. The embankment was stable and vegetated. The emergency spillway was
clear and functional. The northern diversion ditch was rip-rapped at the outlet and functional. The erosion
observed on the northern diversion ditch to the 6MN reservoir has been repaired.

The Fish Creek Borehole Facilities were observed. TC is currently pumping water from the mine workings into
the holding ponds at the site and utilizing the new flocculent system. The Flocculent system was installed and
appears to be functioning. According to Mr. Watterson, TC discharged at site 115 recently and they conducted
downstream water monitoring. Once the electrical conductivity trigger was reached, TC stopped discha rging at
site 115. Site 115 was not discharging at the time of the inspection. The water holding ponds were holding water
and the embankments were stable. The coal fines were cleaned up outside of the Fish Creek Borehole disturbed
area. The new berm has been installed at the base of the pump that overflowed. Straw waddles have been
installed around the coal fine cleanup area. Some of the waddles had been damaged by cattle prior to the
inspection. Brian Watterson re-set the straw waddles and sent me a picture of the repairs on Friday July 22, 2016.
According to Mr. Watterson, the affected area was seeded.

Figure 1. TC should monitor this
culvert and clean it out in the near future.
