Technical Memorandum
Cripple Creek&Victor Gold Mine ■
Stability Evaluation for Arequa Gulch VLF—Mill Solution Injection Program
NewFields Job No.475.0106.008
July 12,2016
According to CC&V, the solution will contain some fine solids from the milling process that have
the potential to precipitate out following exposure to the atmosphere. Over time these have
the potential to accumulate in the wells, and if needed, clearing of the wells would be
completed using the existing Hydro-Jex"' injection program/methodology already in use at the
site. As shown by AMEC (2009), temporary pressurized injection of solution into the wells will
not influence the stability. Flows should be monitored to ensure overfilling of the wells does
not occur that can result in local erosion and instability.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact the undersigned.
Sincerely,
NewFields Mining Design &Technical Services Reviewed by:
Nicholas T.
