Exhibit E: Reclamation Plan South Pit
When we took over the pit, there was a reclaim area of approx. 2.59 acres on the South border.
Since taking over,we have started reclaim of 1.6acres on along the East side of the active mining
area. This reclaim will be going from East to West, then from previous reclaim, it will encompass
or join each other to the North and continue following the active mining area.
With active mining ongoing from West to East/North East,we will be moving our processing
equipment to the East to stay in close proximity to the gravel high wall. As this happens, the
ground not being used on the west side of the permitted area will be reclaimed allowing us to
operate in 20 to 25 acres or less disturbed acres with an on-going mining and reclamation activity.
There is a little brush or topsoil on these gravel deposits. In some pockets, it is deeper than other
areas. The amount that is there will be collected, put in a topsoil pile and re-spread over the
disturbed area after mining is complete.
After the brush topsoil mixture has been spread over the disturbed area, we will seed that area with
a mixture of grass seed as per NRC recommendations. (See Attached)
All high walls and slopes will be reduced to a 3-1 slope during reclamation by adding fines and
over burden to die area that is not delighted through the mountain.
The sediment pond will be maintained throughout the entirety of the permit area.
