The attached, new SDS has more
information on the ingredients and toxicity than the previous SDS in the attached email. The specifics of the testing are:
1. Dosage. We are expecting to use —125-250 cc/min at the cyclone overflow and —10-50 cc/min at TK-053 (4 rougher
flotation cell). A maximum of 300 cc./min total. In both cases we will use a LMI pump to add the frother to the circuit.
2. Store on Site. We are going to buy 1 tote = 1000 m3 or 275 gal. The tote will last approximately 6-7 days at 125
cc/min current frother dosage.
3. Location. The tote will be stored on top of the second containment at the cyclone deck, SDS will be attached and area
will be barricaded off to notify everybody about the test.
4. Delivery. The new frother tote is expecting to be here before August 1st, 2016. The test will start on August 1st,2016
for 6 to 7 days. If there are any issues with this reagent will discontinue the test and dispose of the remaining in
accordance with waste regulations.
Please let us know if you have any concerns with Climax conducting this testing. We will not proceed until we hear
back from you.
Thanks,
- Ray
Raymond Lazuk
Environmental Manager
Climax Molybdenum Company
Climax Mine
HWY 91 - Fremont Pass
Climax, CO 80429
Office: 719-486-7584
