EXHIBIT "D"- Reclamation Plan
The current conditions of the mine are as cropland. The soils in the mine area are loams
(Colby Loam, 0-1 percent slopes; Weld Loam 0-1 percent slope, NRCS report attached). Once
Arnolds Custom Seeding LLC gets approval of the (110) limited impact operation reclamation
permit the top 4 inches of top soil will be salvaged and stock piled out of the way of the mining
activities.
Upon completion of the mining, projected to be June 2017, the sub surface layer
(approx. 12"-24" deep) will be graded to best suit water drainage for farming practice. The top
soil will then be placed back into position over sub soil in a smooth even layer across entire
mine location. The mined area will then be de-compacted using an agricultural type deep
ripper to a minimum depth of 18". After the grading and deep ripping are completed the
farmer will plant crop back into the disturbed area when it best fits the schedule for farming
practice of crop production.
