• Placing noxious weed identification posters at mine sites. <br />• Periodic site identification, and mapping as to the extent of noxious weed infestations. <br />Are there new infestations which need to be added to the noxious weed control map? <br />• Consultation with government weed control officials as needed. <br />• Application of the noxious weed control methods. <br />➢ How should the target species' be treated? <br />➢ What is the most effective time in its growing life cycle to treat the target species'? <br />• Periodic evaluation of the site specific noxious weed control. <br />➢ What is the level of noxious weed control on the target species'? <br />➢ Are there new more cost effective and environmentally friendly control methods? <br />➢ How aggressive does the NWCP need to be in order to prevent the spread of the <br />target noxious weed species' and are there additional measures which need to be <br />taken? <br />The (NWCP) recognizes most chemicals used to control noxious weeds are restricted use <br />herbicides. As such, Transit Mix will use the services of a licensed applicator, as necessary, in <br />its NWCP. Other weedy species which do not fall on the A, B and in some cases the C listed <br />species may be controlled by non -chemical methods or non -restricted herbicides as Transit Mix <br />may determine. In such instances, Transit Mix will comply with the manufacture's labels and <br />appropriate Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). <br />2 <br />
