June 23, 2016 C-1981-022/Elk Creek Mine LDS <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Oxbow had been spraying the facilities area for weeds (using Curtail). <br />Some weeds at the Bear Creek fan site and along the access road, including White top/Hoary cress, needed <br />to be treated. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br /> The final section of the road to the de-watering well pad, in the north-west corner of the COC-61357 lease <br />area, had been damaged in several spots by small slides where it crosses the headwater drainages of Elk Creek. <br />Rather than repairing the slides to maintain road access, Oxbow plan to reclaim the pad and the final mile of the <br />road. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> A selection of gob-vent borehole pads were inspected. The status of the pads was compared with the <br />information given on Map 2.05-M1, Sheet 6 of 6. <br /> GVB-LW3-02, -LW4-02 and -LW17-09 were reclaimed and well vegetated. <br /> GVB-LW15-06 and -07 were not inspected but the access road was inspected from one end. The <br />road was reclaimed and well vegetated. <br /> GVB-LW18-09 had not been reclaimed. Only one hole appeared to have been drilled on the pad, <br />although the map showed three. <br /> GVB-LW19-09 had not been reclaimed.
