SUMMARY
From the summary information above, the reclaimed areas sampled exceeded the final
revegetation success criteria values for vegetation cover, total herbaceous production, and
species composition in 2015 and 2016, thereby demonstrating that the permittee has
established a diverse, effective, and permanent vegetative cover of the same seasonal
variety as the original vegetation.
From the sampling data it was concluded that the revegetated areas are capable of self -
regeneration and plant succession. The data shows development of a stable, self-
sustaining vegetation community, with seasonality and diversity sufficient to demonstrate
successful reestablishment of vegetation on the reclaimed area.
LITERATURE CITED
Harrington, H.D. 1954.
