Overall the vegetation is healthy and diverse.
The favorable spring moisture has also benefited noxious weeds throughout the reclaimed area. Most of the
property has occasional noxious species within the reclaimed areas. Several spots need special attention for weed
control. Specifically: The southern end of Pond 017, and the southern entrance to reclaimed haul road K. There
are several established patches of Houndstongue and Canada thistle that require weed control.

There were numerous Houndstongue plants along the southern access road (near topsoil stock pile footprint AAA)
that require weed control.

SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12:
The Pond 006 slump is drying out. No new movement was observed. SP, LLC is working with a
consultant for direction, and associated permit revision to stabilize this feature. No cracking of Access road A was
noted in this vicinity. An additional head scarp was located further up (south) on the slope between the facilities
area and the road. This head scarp angles WNW form the 3-pole powerline at the top of the slope. The
approximate location of this feature was shown to Mr. Watterson on an aerial photo in the office.

SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02:
Disturbed area boundary markers were posted and visible at the southern end of the reclaimed area,

TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06
Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4:
Topsoil stockpile location “road G” located on the south side of G access road west of stock tank T-20 has
an infestation of Whitetop. This noxious weed infestation requires weed control measures to be implemented.

There is a small pile of rock, brush and dirt at the southern extent of the disturbed area. This pie is small, about 12
cubic yards and located just off the reclaimed access track to topsoil stockpile footprint DDD. This pile is un-
reclaimed. However, it is remote, very small, and elk apparently use it as a high point. Numerous elk track and
sign were noted on this small pile. It would appear that it is supporting the post-mining land use of Wildlife
habitat in its present configuration.

DOCUMENTS RECEIVED NA
OTHER (SPECIFY) NA

ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE

No enforcement action was taken as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending currently.
