June 22, 2016 C-1996-083/Bowie No. 2 Mine JDM <br />Gob Pile #3 <br />Material was in the process of being stockpiled at the time of the inspection. <br />processed waste during the inspection, with no problems noted. <br />a_ <br />- -_ jam•.. ' <br />The pile was actively receiving <br />Gob 93 looking from Gob #2 Gob #3 Underdrain Discharge <br />The under -drain was discharging at the time of the inspection with a trickle discharge. No problems were noted. <br />Gob Pile #4 <br />Reclamation of the west side of Gob Pile #4 is completed. Cover material is placed on the three lower benches <br />that have been backfilled and graded to final configuration. The upper bench remains open for additional refuse <br />placement. Topsoil has been placed and erosion control mat is in place. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />All roads in and around the facilities area and off-site locations were dry and stable with no problems noted. As <br />noted in the Hydrologic Balance section of this report, roadside ditches and culverts have been cleaned and were <br />functioning as designed at the time of the inspection. The access roads to the gob vent boreholes and the Terror <br />Creek Vent Shaft were stable and accessible at the time of the inspection. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The Terror Creek Vent Shaft area and the gob vent boreholes were stable with no problems noted at the time of the <br />inspection. The Terror Creek Vent Shaft pad was stockpiling temporary sealing material at the surface. BRL <br />intendents to place this material 50' from the bottom to serve as a temporary seal. <br />Evidence of noxious and invasive vegetation management was observed throughout the mine site. Continued <br />management is needed in the following locations observed during the inspection: <br />- Areas within the gob vent borehole sites and access roads <br />- The material lay -down area above the explosives storage area. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />Page 7 of 10 <br />
