Fourth Adequacy Letter
Dear Mr. Head:
On May 20, 2016, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the Division) received two
letters from New Elk Coal Company (NECC) regarding RN -06 adequacy items formerly
identified by the Division. One of the letters addressed items 1 — 16, and the other addressed
items 17 — 29.
This letter is a response to the two letters from NECC, and the following item numbers correspond to the
numbers in past adequacy letters. It is the Division's understanding that NECC is planning to send more
responses, including (but not limited to) an update of Map 13.
