Tabetha Lynch, DRMS <br />Page 3 <br />June 17, 2016 <br /> <br />o Division’s Response: I have reviewed Trappers calculation and have discussed <br />it with Graham Roberts with TMI. Trapper estimated 154 additional acres would <br />need to be bonded for topsoil replacement. Upon review of Trapper’s estimate, I <br />believe this is a conservative estimate that makes up for the decreased amount of <br />topsoil replacement in 2015 from what was projected. <br /> <br />Given this, I have estimated the cost to re-apply topsoil to 154 acres will be <br />$269,744.00. See the attached CIRCES sheets for details. <br /> <br /> Please submit a revised table A-10.6 and A-9.1 for Appendix A. <br /> <br /> It appears the KLM pit disturbed area is increasing in size as a result of TR115. The <br />reclamation cost estimate Table A-11.1 in Appendix A, shows a cost for reclaiming 490.3 <br />acres for the KLM pit. Please update this table to account for the increase in acreage of <br />the KLM pit. <br />o Trapper’s Response: Trapper provided an estimate to revegetate the 154 acre <br />area discussed in the item above. They provided a new table A-11.1 in the cover <br />letter but they did not include a new copy for Appendix A. <br />o Division Response: I have conducted an estimate for the additional KLM <br />stripping area, specifically for revegetation. See the attached CIRCES cost <br />sheets for details. <br /> Please submit a revised table A-11.1 for Appendix A. <br /> <br />New Building <br /> <br /> Please provide details about the concrete perimeter foundation for the new building. <br />Please provide the dimensions of this foundation. <br /> Please update Table A-12.1, in Appendix A to include the new proposed building. <br />o Trapper’s Response: Trapper provided a plan figure for the building and <br />foundation. They also provided an estimate for demolishing this structure. <br />Table A-12.1 was not updated. <br />o Division’s Response: Using the provided material, I have estimated the cost <br />to demolish this structure. See the attached CIRCES Sheets for details. <br /> Please submit a revised table A-12.1 for Appendix A. <br /> <br />Diversion Ditch <br /> <br />Trapper provided a design for two diversion ditches; the Deal diversion and Deacon/Jeffway <br />diversion. Trapper did not update the reclamation cost estimate to account for the reclamation of <br />this diversion. The enclosed cost estimate includes a cost to reclaim the diversion ditches based <br />on the design of the ditches supplied and the M51 map.
