Reclamation Accomplished During 2015:
No reclamation was accomplished during 2015. Berms were reinforced around the open dig site.
The site was broken down to make safe for the winter.
On 23 May, we planted 30 aspen, 30 chokecherry, and 30 ponderosa pine on Site B. Additionally,
some areas were reseeded with native mix. Regrowth is slow but consistent. Tree survival is 85
percent. Some ponderosa are three and a half feet tall.
Roads have not been removed. They provide access for Sites A and C that are still being mined or
maintained.
All other sites under this permit except Site C and Site D which are open for operations and Site B
which is at 60 percent regrowth are at 80 percent regrowth and considered complete. See photos of
Site A and Site C.
Proposed 2016 Operations:
Operations will be in conjunction with operations on T. D. Mining claims, Quist claims, Crystaljack
claims, and American Dream claims, between early June through the end of July and be conducted
primarily using a John Deer 992 and/or 350 track hoe. Operations on the Smoky Hawk will extend
Site C to the north boundary. We will again drill and blast at site C to develop some deeper
pegmatites. Site D will be worked to the extent of its permit boundary and reclaimed, recontoured,
and reseeded.
Site visits, including mineral extraction, reclamation, and claim maintenance will be continued
throughout the season.
Anticipated 2016 Disturbances:
Approximately 0.4 acre will be opened on the Smoky Hawk at Site C and D. Approximately 0.4
acre will be reclaimed and reseeded.
Any additional prospects will not exceed 0.1 acre.
Proposed 2016 Reclamation:
Site D should be completed and this site will be reclaimed approximately 0.35 acre. Approximately
30 ponderosa pine, 30 chokecherry, and 30 aspens will again be planted on Site B. Additional
reseeding will be accomplished on areas that are not showing good growth.
Any test pits that may be opened during 2016 will be filled, recontoured, and reseeded.
