The inspection began walking the length of the Final <br />East Pit Ditch to the South Collection Ditch. At the time of the inspection, water was flowing down the length of <br />the Final East Pit Ditch, discharging from both the EP1 and EP2 ponds, down to the South Collection Ditch before <br />finally reporting to the Prospect Pond. The Final East Pit Ditch was stable and well armored with rip rap. No <br />erosion or cutting was observed along the length of ditch. The South Collection Ditch is protected with vegetation. <br />No rip rap was used along this ditch due to the lack of slope. No major erosion was encountered and was stable <br />along the length of the ditch. The north side of the South Collection Ditch, which reports in a south western <br />direction, was dry. <br /> <br />The length of the East Side Collection Ditch, connecting to the Streeter South Side Ditch, Streeter Gulch Ditch and <br />finally to the Stoker Ditch was also walked. The four ditches walked were completely dry and no issues were <br />encountered along the stretch of ditches.
