SPECIFICATION NUMBER: <br /> ClimaxMolybdenw,' CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION 03 30 00 SPE <br /> AFreeport-McMoRan Company TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION PROJECT NAME: <br /> CAVR Shaft Closure Project <br /> 1. Form materials shall be as specified on the Design Drawings and under <br /> Section 3.02E of this Specification. <br /> I. Epoxy Material <br /> 1. Epoxy bonding agent adhesives or grout shall be Hilti HIT-HY200 as <br /> manufactured by Hilti Inc., or Engineer approved alternative. Type and <br /> grade shall be as shown on the Design Drawings for each particular <br /> application. <br /> J. Fly Ash <br /> 1. Class F fly ash may be used in the concrete for this project. The fly ash <br /> [ shall meet the requirements of ASTM C618, and shall be tested in <br /> t , accordance with ASTM C311. <br /> 2. All fly ash used on the project shall be from one source and its quality shall <br /> be monitored throughout the duration of its use. <br /> 3. Fly ash shall be stored as a cementitious material per Section 2.02A.3. <br /> 2.03' PACKAGING AND SHIPPING <br /> A. Reinforcement <br /> 1. Packaging: Bars shall be bundled and tagged in accordance with the latest <br /> revision of the Manual of Standard Practice, as published by the Concrete <br /> Reinforcing Steel Institute. <br /> 2. Storing: Reinforcing steel shall be handled and stored in a manner to avoid <br /> ` distortion,excessive rusting,and objectionable coatings ofpaint,oil,grease, <br /> dried mud, dried mortar or any other materials. Bars shall be stored so that <br /> r each may be identified after bundles are broken. <br /> B. Accessories <br /> 1. Accessories shall be stored in a manner to avoid distortion and objectionable <br /> P coatings.
