Stockpile at the fan bench will be stabilized with relevant seed mix as per the current permit as soon <br />as possible. Once reseeded, this item will be considered resolved and subsequently monitored for <br />seeding success. <br />3. Rills on the face of the King I refuse pile have been stabilized with compacted soil (photo 3), and <br />will be revegetated with the reclamaition seed mix as soon as possible. This item will be resolved <br />once seed has been applied, and subsequently monitored for vegetation success. <br />4. Erosion at culvert crossing the road at Reach 10 of the southern drainage ditch at King I was in the <br />process of being stabilized and armored with large blocks of sandstone. This item will be resolved <br />once work is completed, and the cut in the road embankement filled and stabilized, (photos 12 and <br />13 ). <br />5. Badger holes on the King I East sediment pond slopes appeared to have been repaired and stabilized. <br />This item is resolved. <br />6. Sediment control at cattle guard crossing near King II entrance appeared stabilized. This item is <br />resolved. <br />7. Drainage ditch incursion due to heavy equipment that occurred north of the access road to the King <br />II mine portals appeared to have been repaired, the ditch height and sediment control berms <br />appeared to have been reestablished. This item is resolved. <br />8. North of the King II sediment pond, non coal waste had been placed in dumpsters for disposal. This <br />item is resolved. <br />9. The line of survey stakes marking the perimeter of the #2 stack tube need to be remarked with bright <br />pink tape. <br />10. Tamarix observed on the south side of soil stockpile #2 at King II facilities area had been removed. <br />This item is resolved. <br />11. The bare areas on the King II stockpile #1 west of the sediment pond and the King I topsoil <br />stockpile located above the refuse pile will be stabilized with the appropriate seed mix as outlined <br />in the permit as soon as possible. This item will be resolved once reseeded and will be subsequently <br />monitored for vegetation success. <br /> <br />NEW MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br />May 2016 <br />12. Gully forming behind water storage tank requires mitigation within the month, photo 1; as does the <br />ditch along the road below water storage tank and pump house. <br />13. Culvert C18 requires clean out. <br />14. Equipment slid into drainage ditch along the road to the belt portal. Please reestablish this ditch <br />(right side as look downhill). <br />15. Eradicate cheat grass early in the season by either, spot treating, or consistent mowing before seed <br />sets. <br />16. Reset waddle and rocks at substation and yard drop structures to prevent incursion of debris, (photo <br />9). <br />17.
