The mine was reclaiming the old mine office building located near the guard shack. A backhoe was removing <br /> material from the office and piling it for removal. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> Vegetation is taking well in the southern portion of the East Pit reclamation. Visible rows of young vegetation is <br /> extremely noticeable. <br /> SLIDES and DAMAGE -Rule 4.12: <br /> Rills,noted in previous reports, along the north facing slope of the southern section of East Pit reclamation were <br /> inspected. Comparing the size(using hard hate for scale) of the rills from the previous inspection reports,the rills <br /> have not noticeably increased in size. These rills have been identified by Colowyo and have been added to their <br /> maintenance list. Due to seasonal conditions and snow melt,this area has not been attainable. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> Mine identification signs were inspected. Signs contain all information for compliance. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> Topsoil for the emergency access road has been pushed down gradient in wind rows. The topsoil is stable and is <br /> not leaving the site.No issues were observed. <br />
