March 24,2016 C-1981-035/King Coal Mine RAR <br /> o Observed hydrologic diversions and ditches, appeared to be functioning adequately with the exception of: <br /> 1. the Reach 6 Upland Diversion Ditch. GCC needs to exercise caution when placing topsoil on the <br /> King I fan bench. Nearby topsoil appears to have encroached into the ditch,as illustrated in <br /> photo 3. <br /> 2. Poto 4 shows some rills forming on the slope below the reclaimed portion of the refuse pile. <br /> Please monitor these so that they don't become problematic. <br /> 3. Photo 4 shows the steep drop from the culvert directing reach 10 under the road,please monitor <br /> and assure that any headcutting and errosion on this steep section is quickly attended to. <br /> TOPSOIL-Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Storage and Protection 4.06.3: <br /> o The King I topsoil pile was no longer covered with snow. <br /> Topsoil pile requires the following maintenance. <br /> 1. Topsoil pile requires signage as such. <br /> 2.
