Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> An aerial inspection of the King Coal Mine was conducted on Thursday, 24 March 2016 of the King I mine <br /> facilities. Mr. Brock Bowles of the Division took the aerial photos and I,Robin Reille of the division interpreted <br /> the photos and prepared the following report. Skies were clear. Activity at King I had begun approximatly two <br /> weeks previously with the main haul road being prepared for movment of equipment and the refuse pile being <br /> surveyed to maintian approved slopes. <br /> The focus of this inspection was the King I mine with particular attention being paid to the refuse pile,the fan <br /> bench and intake portals areas. <br /> INSPECTION.- <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br /> Maintenance Item: <br /> 1. Topsoil stockpile observed requires a clearly marked identifying sign. Please attend to this <br /> maintenance item as quickly as possible <br /> ROADS Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and(6) <br /> 4.03.2(5) and(6). <br /> o Roads in and around the facilities area appeared stable, and in good condition. No fugitive dust was being <br /> generated. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland Flow 4.05.3; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; Impoundments <br /> 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; Surface and Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> o The East and West Sediment Ponds were visible.
