Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This inspection represents a partial coal inspection conducted by Jason Musick of the Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining, and Safety at the Keensburg Mine. Danny Kipp of Coors Energy accompanied the inspection. The <br /> weather was clear with the ground wet and muddy due to recent precipitation events at the time of the inspection. <br /> Due to the saturated ground conditions no equipmnet was operaing at the time of the inspection. Danny Kipp <br /> noted that two remaining load dumps remain in the ash pit and the dumps would likely occur the day of the <br /> inspection. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14 <br /> Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1;Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2;Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)()9; <br /> Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27;Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> Ash disposal in B-Pit is near completion. Danny Kipp of Coors Energy stated that two ash dumps remain and <br /> should be completed on the day of the inspection. A large gully has formed in the recently dumped ash due to <br /> recent precipitation events. No instability problems were noted as the erosion was in the pit and drained towards <br /> the area that will receive ash. No problems were noted in the B-Pit area. <br /> Recent backfilling of cover material was observed. No backfilling or grading operations were occurring during <br /> the inspection due to the wet ground surface.
