Mr. Jones
Page I2
April 19, 2016
c. Describe how the trench will be reclaimed and specify the maximum gradient of
reclaimed slopes. If the Operator is unable to backfill the trench back to the
approximate original contour, then how will the trench be reclaimed so that it blends
in with the surrounding topography?
3. In the Division's letter dated February 19, 2016, the Division requested a revised
Reclamation Plan Map which includes an outlined and labeled permit boundary. The
Applicant submitted a copy of a Reclamation Plan Map which had already been provided to
the Division. Please submit a revised copy of the Reclamation Plan Map which depicts the
entire 4.75 acre permit boundary and which shows the gradient of all reclaimed slopes
(horizontal:vertical) sufficient to describe the post mine topography. In addition, please
remove any symbols and labels related to the mobile mill.
As previously mentioned, if you are unable to provide satisfactory responses to any inadequacies
prior to the decision date (April 22, 2016), it will be your responsibility to request an
extension of time to allow for continued review of this application. If there are still
unresolved issues when the decision date arrives and no extension has been requested, the
application will be denied.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (303)866-3567 x8116.
Sincerely,
______
Michael A.
