To summarize, of the 34 wells in Table 2.04.7-38: <br />11 have no completion information beyond that which is available from the Division <br />of Water Resources, (the DH... series, which predate the issuance of permit C1981014) <br />13 have completion information available in Exhibit 7, Item 21, Appendix 5A, (the <br />MWC... series) <br />Four have completion information available in Exhibit 7, Item 21, Appendix 513, (MS - <br />04 -01, MS -04-02, MC -04-01 and MC -04-02, plus MLC -04-02, which is not listed in Table <br />2.04.7-38, but is shown on Map 1013) <br />Four (including two duplicates) have completion information available in Exhibit 7, <br />Item 21A, (MC -04-01, MC -04-02, MJ -95-01 and MJ -95-03) <br />The following issues are outstanding: <br />a. MLC -04-02 is shown on Map 10B and included in Exhibit 7, Item 21, Appendix 5A, but <br />MLC -04-01 is listed in Table 2.04.7-38. Please clear up the confusion over this <br />well/these wells. <br />b. Is completion information available for MJ -95-02, UL -95-01 and C-04-1613? If so, please <br />add it to the PAP. <br />76. In Volume 15, Rule 2, Page 22, the text refers to well DH -76-8 in the description of water levels <br />in the Trout Creek Sandstone. <br />Please draw well DH -76-8 on Map 10B. <br />CCC responded that the DHH series of wells are shown on Map 11B, which shows all drill hole <br />locations. Rule 2.04.7(4) requires "A map prepared according to the standards of 2.10 showing... <br />(b) Elevations and locations of monitoring stations used to gather data for water quality and <br />quantity..." In the Colowyo PAP Map 10B is given the title HYDROLOGIC FEATURES and <br />MONITORING LOCATIONS, and should show all current and former monitoring wells. <br />Please update Map 10B to show the locations of all wells in Table 2.04.7-38. <br />DH -76-8 was drawn on Map 10B. <br />The response is sufficient. <br />77. The text in Volume 15, Rule 2, Page 22, also describes potentiometric head values at several <br />points in the Trout Creek Sandstone. It is not clear from the material that has been submitted <br />how well characterized the potentiometric surface in the Trout Creek Sandstone is in the vicinity <br />of the proposed Collom pit. Such characterization of the baseline conditions will allow an <br />assessment of the veracity of the Probable Hydrologic Consequences (PHC) later in the life of <br />the permitted operation. <br />
