Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> A partial inspection of the Foidel Creek Mine(C 1982-056)facilities was conducted on Wednesday, 13 April 2016, <br /> by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. Mr. Jerry Nettleton accompanied me on the inspection. Skies were clear with <br /> temperatures in the mid 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Due to a snowy winter, some areas were not accessible because of <br /> either snow or muddy roads. <br /> Stocker coal was being loaded and refuse was being deposited. The proposal for dewatering the western mining <br /> district and the associated need for new monitoring requirements were discussed. <br /> APRIL INSPECTION.- <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br /> o Topsoil stockpiles observed were marked with identifying signs. <br /> o Mine identification signs at gate were installed as required and displayed correct <br /> information. <br /> o Disturbed area markers observed appeared to be adequate, and in good repair. <br /> ROADS-Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)14.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4) 14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance <br /> 4.03.1(5) and (6) 14.03.2(5) and (6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7) 14.03.2(7): <br /> o All roads observed in and around the site were stable with no observed signs of erosion, <br /> with the exception of: <br /> 1. the location of the road to 6 MN Vent Shaft where high water levels due to spring <br /> runoff in Fish Creek were impacting the road. A culvert was being installed here <br /> to better route this water. An MR must be submitted for the culvert design as per <br /> Rule 4.03.2(4)(e) and associated maps updated to reflect culvert location and flow <br /> routing. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br /> Page 2 of 8 <br />
