(c) All water diversions and impoundments;
It is not anicipated that this operation will impact surface or groundwater. A
water truck will be assigned to the site when in operation for dust control if
needed. If dust control water is needed it will be obtained from sources owned
by the property owner made available to us foe this purpose.
Stormwater will be controlled on site and released in a controlled manner to
not damage off site areas in accordance with the operation's stormwater
management plan.
(d ) The size of area(s)to be worked at any one time.
The entire 30.12 acre mining site will be mined in one phase. Also the 1.82 acre
site for the scale and scale house will be active during the entire time.
(e ) An approximate timetable to describe the mining operation. The time table is
for the purpose of establishing the relationship between mining and
reclamation.
It is estimated that mining will be completed within ten years, but the life of
the operation is dependant on market demand. While sloping of the banks and
other reclamation activities may take place during mining it may take an
additional twelve months to reclaim the site.
(f) Use Mining Plan Map in conjunction with narrative to present;
( i. ) Nature, depth and thickness of the deposit and thickness and type
of overburden to be removed.
The topsoil ranges in depth from 0 " to 6" inches over the site, there
is no overburden and the sand and gravel depth at it's highest is
25' in depth.
( i. ) Nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material to be mined
in sedimentary deposits.
The stratum immediately beneath the sand and gravel deposit is
claystone with lenses of siltstone and sandstone bedrock.
Page 4
