March 16, 2016 C-1981-012/New Elk Mine RDZ <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> The ditch that separates the upper RDA(not yet reclaimed) and the lower RDA(reclaimed)needs to possibly be <br /> dug deeper. As mentioned in past inspection reports,there is a rill in this area(approximately 80 feet west of the <br /> conveyor)that needs to be fixed. <br /> The vegetation on the SAE by Topsoil Stockpile#2 is very sparse. This area will likely require seeding in the <br /> future. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> All around the facilities trash needs to be cleaned. This includes piles of wood. No leaks of oil or other liquids <br /> were seen around the miners, cars, and other equipment. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> Buffer zone markers were still missing near Pond 007A.
