Brian Watterson of Seneca Property,LLC <br /> accompanied the inspection. The mine is a reclaimed surface mine. No active mining is occurring,nor anticipated <br /> in the forseeable future. As such,no winter maintenance or plowing of the permanent roads has occured. The site <br /> is inactive and quiet. The site is snowcovered with approximatley 18"to 24"of snow at the lower elevations. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Quarterly pond inspection reports are located in desk drawer in office. <br /> Need to file Annual certification of impoundments. Locate Ground water monitoring data. SP is currently <br /> compiling the Annual hydrology Report. GW files may be in use for this report by third party. Location of <br /> reports will need to be designated. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3 Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits <br /> 4.05.2; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Only Pond 006 was accessible. Pond 006 was discharging. The flume is still buried beneath the snow so <br /> no flow measurement was collected. Discharge looked clear. Pond 006 is still ice covered but ice was thinning. <br /> No open water was present. <br /> Drainages 006-NEI and 006-SE1 were observed and were flowing. It did not appear that either of these drainages <br /> were pooling or otherwise experiencing impeded flow. <br /> The culvert under the main access road was flowing well with no sign of clogging or backing up. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> No obvious concerns were noted on the ground with the limited area accessible. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br />
