Material was cut from the hillside using a D6 dozer. An excavator loaded the material <br />into 740 articulating haul trucks, who hauled the material to a local stockpile. Cut to <br />stockpile took place in areas bounded by the following bench stations: <br />o 110+00 to 114+00 and K6+00 to K10+00 <br />o 116+00 to 120+00 and K10+00 to K14+00 <br />D Material was cut from the hillside at stations M38+00 to M42+00 with a D6 dozer. An <br />excavator loaded the material into 740 articulating haul trucks, who hauled the material <br />to the sliver fill that was being placed below stations N12+00 to N16+00. <br />1.3 Soil Liner Fill (SLF) <br />SLF processing continued throughout the week at Dump 1. Approximately 45,000 tons of <br />material has been processed as of Saturday, March 5, 2016. No SLF was placed in the VLF. <br />2.0 GEOSYNTHETICS <br />2.1 Geogrid <br />Four rolls of geogrid were delivered to the site. NewFields personnel observed off-loading of <br />the material and took inventory of the delivery. The rolls were delivered from lots that had <br />been previously approved for use prior to delivery. <br />3.0 STORM WATER MANAGEMENT <br />Best Management Practices continued to be performed. <br />4.0 NEWFIELDS LABORATORY ACTIVITIES <br />Two samples of Soil Liner Fill (NF-SLF-1-C and NF-SLF-2-C) were collected from the processing <br />plant. The samples will be sent to the NewFields soils laboratory in Elko, Nevada for sieve <br />analysis, atterberg limits, compaction and permeability testing. <br />Page 3 <br />
