The decision date for this Technical
Revision is March 31, 2016. The Division has reviewed the proposed revisions and has the
following comments:
1. The Applicant is proposing to leave the perimeter berms in place. In addition, the Operator is
proposing to connect the berms along the north and west edges of the site. Please confirm
that the berms to be constructed will match the approximate dimensions (height, width,
outslope) of the existing berms.
2. Please provide an estimate of how much material will be required to construct the berm and
specify where the material will come from.
3. Please specify how the berms will be stabilized. Will the berms be seeded? If the berms will
be seeded, specify the seed mix to be used, the seeding rate (PLS/acre), and seed application
method.
4. The Reclamation Plan Map prepared by Coffey Engineering & Surveying does not conform
to the required mapping criteria. The Reclamation Plan Map must be revised to contain the
following information:
a. Depict the entire permit area.
b. Contain a labeled permit boundary.
c. Contain an appropriate title (Reclamation Plan Map).
d. Shall be prepared at a scale not larger than 1 inch = 50 feet nor smaller than 1 inch --
660
660 feet.
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining.state.co.us
John W.
