The Division has observed some <br /> undercutting of these ditches and/or animals have burrowed under the ditches near the northwest end of <br /> the ditches. <br /> o These ditches were under a significant amount of snow and could not be observed. Given this,the <br /> Division will evaluate the progress of this item when snow conditions allow. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03; Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and <br /> Maintenance4.03.1(5) and(6)/4.03.2(5) and(6),Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Road A and Road B were plowed. Upper Road A-1 was only plowed a little ways past the old bone yard area and <br /> the rest of the road was inaccessible due to the snow conditions. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15 <br /> Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> The reclaimed portions of the old Seneca II mine that are now part of the permit; that have not been Phase III bond <br /> released,were snow covered and inaccessible at the time of the inspection. <br /> SUBSIDENCE—Rule 4.20: <br /> The mine is currently idle and thus subsidence monitoring is not occurring. <br /> SLIDES and DAMAGE -Rule 4.12: <br /> The slope above the portal was partially snow covered,but the area appeared stable. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> The old shop area south of Road B was snow covered. The access road around the shop was plowed. No <br /> problems were observed. <br /> The facilities area and equipment storage area around the portals were observed. No problems were noted. <br /> The office area and bone yard area was observed,no problems were noted. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> The mine identification signs were in place. <br /> The topsoil stockpile is marked with an identification marker. <br /> Portions of the disturbance area markers were observed.
