0 <br /> "HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD" <br /> Exhibit J — Vegetation Information <br /> 1.) Of the current 80 acres, 9.32 acres has been permitted to mine under a 110 permit. Sixty(60) <br /> acres is currently being farmed and is in wheat production and the remaining 10 acres is <br /> unsuitable for farming as it is steeper terrain and is considered rangeland. <br /> a. 60 acres is currently farmed wheat, 9.32 acres is permitted to be mined. Currently <br /> approx. 6 acres of the 9.32 acres have been mined and reclaimed with 3.32 still needed <br /> to be mined. The remaining acreage is considered rangeland, with low shrubs <br /> (sagebrush ) and grasses present. <br /> b. Present wheat, sage brush and grasses are planted on the same soil type as listed above <br /> in Exhibit I. 6-8" of topsoil overtop 24" layer of subsoil overlying the layer of rock and <br /> gravel of various sizes. <br /> c. Annually 30 acres of wheat croplands is farmed while the other 30 acres is not farmed, <br /> giving it time to be disked and prepped for the following growing season. <br /> 2.) Please see map labeled Exhibit C (a) <br /> Exhibit K — Climate Information <br /> Moffat County is located in the Northwest corner of Colorado and is considered to be in the <br /> Central Region Climate according to NOAA. Craig and Northwest Colorado can experience the <br /> of all four seasons. Northwest Colorado sees Winter season (snow) continues from October to <br /> March with a spring occurring April and May. Summer season tends to be warm and dry with a <br /> fall season to follow with lower temperatures. <br /> 6 <br />
