7 <br />1999 and adheres to the requirements of this Rule. <br />Section 4.05.4 of the permit states that there will be no stream channel diversions at the mine. <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br />Rule: 4.05.5 (1-2) Sediment Control <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.5(1-2) associated with design, construction and maintenance of sediment control <br />systems. <br />Information on the sediment control system is presented in Section 4.05.5 and in Exhibit 18 of the permit <br />application. Map 26 shows the locations of the components of the sediment control system. Sections 2.05.3 and <br />2.05.6 of the permit discuss the drainage and sediment control systems. The Findings documents related to <br />Permit Renewals 06 and 05 dated December 2014 and May 2009 respectively, discuss implementation of Rule <br />4.05. Exhibit 18 Map IV -9 illustrates the sediment control system for disturbed areas. <br />Diversions upslope from mining activities will divert runoff away from the disturbed areas or into sediment <br />ponds. <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br />Rule: 4.05.6 Sediment Ponds <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.6(1-7) associated with sediment pond design, construction and maintenance. <br />Sediment Pond designs are found in Exhibit 18 of the permit document. This exhibit is comprised of numerous <br />drawings. Map 26 shows the location of the drainage and sediment control structures. <br />A review of the 2014 Annual Hydrolo�Report (AH with respect to surface water stated that there was no <br />recorded discharge from any of the on site sediment ponds in 2014. <br />This section of the permit is adequately addressed. <br />Rule: 4.05.7Discharge Structures <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.7 associated with discharge from sediment control structures and other treatment <br />facilities. <br />Structure designs and SedCad model results are provided in Exhibit 18 of the permit. Map 26 shows the locations <br />of all structures. <br />This section of the rules is adequately addressed in the permit. <br />Rule: 4.05.9 Impoundments (1-21) <br />This is a review of rules 4.05.9(1-21) associated with design, construction and maintenance of impoundments. <br />Sediment ponds are meant for temporary impoundment of water before discharge in order to meet State and <br />Federal effluent standards. NO permanent impoundments are planned according to section 4.05.9 of the permit. <br />Structure designs and SedCad model results are provided in Exhibit 18 of the permit.
