recWimed, the reclamation bond should not reflect costs associated with those features.
Therefore, the costs associated with this task ($9,117.00) should be excised from the reclamation
bond calculation.
Task 004: Rill and Gully Maintenance (3 times over 10 -years). This task specifies that the
task will take place three times over the ten year extended liability period. As the mine is at year
9.5, this task value should be reduced by at least 67%. Additionally, the "materials consistency
description" of consolidated stockpile 1.0 is an accurate description of the material used for rill
and gully repair. Rills and gullies are repaired using adjacent topsoil material that has a "lighter"
consistency than that of consolidate stockpile material. Further the characterization of "weight
description" as decomposed rock (50% rock, 50% earth) is flawed and yields a much higher
weight, and consequently reduced production, than the correct characterization of loose earth as
the material used to repair rills and gullies.
Task 005 Mobilization. As a drill rig will not be required for Task 002, all costs associated with
transporting the Atlas/Copco DM45 drill rig to the site should be excised from the reclamation
bond estimate.
If you have any questions regarding the above observations, please contact Ms. Chi Chi Price or
me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
4442;;*"
Michael S.
