Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company (“the Operator”) has applied for an
amendment to its application for an amendment to an existing 112d Designated Mining
Operation reclamation permit from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (“the
Board”). The proposed application amendment is to Amendment 11 to the Cresson Mine
and is located in the Cripple Creek Mining District, predominately in Township 15 South,
Range 69 West, 6th Prime Meridian.

The proposed application including this amendment will commence as soon as necessary
permits are obtained, and the proposed date of completion of associated reclamation is
2041. The Proposed future use of the land remains livestock grazing and wildlife habitat.
