T-1
EXHIBIT T
PERMANENT MAN-MADE STRUCTURES

CC&V asserts that the stability of structures within 200 feet of the operation or affected
land in this amended application will not be adversely affected by CC&V activities. The
basis for this assertion is operations that have been undertaken by CC&V since 1981 in
the Cripple Creek Mining District and the information from blast monitoring as provided
in the Project Description, Section 5 in Volume I of this application and Appendix 4 in
Volume III. Blasting evaluations have occurred for mining activities since 1994 and
monitors have been installed by CC&V either voluntarily or as required by the Division
of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (“DRMS”) to verify that no damage is occurring to
structures in the vicinity of mining operations. The DRMS has periodically reviewed the
results of the blast monitoring since 1994 with no adverse results. The ongoing
evaluations and monitoring have shown that the mining activities have not affected
nearby structures.

Owners of land within 200 feet of the affected land are shown on Amended Drawings C-
1, C-1a, and C-1b, Revision 2 and attached to this Exhibit T. Owners of adjacent land
within 200 feet of the permit boundary, including owners with structures, will be notified
of this amended application as part of the adjacent landowners notification required by
Rule 1.6.2(1)(e)(ii) of the Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rules and Regulations.
