Drain Cover Fill:
None.
Rip Rap:
Preparation of subgrade between station S28+00 to S32+00 for rip rap placement. Placed rip rap
between stations S26+00 to S34+00 per project plans and specifications.
Underground Workings:
Blasting:
UG#6117: Previously drilled confirmatory boreholes were shot. Further remediation
required.
Confirmatory Drilling:
UG#6477: Sandvik 700—24.0 hours, 2600LF. Further remediation required.
Remediation:
UG#6538: First and second layer of geogrid and Select Structural Fill installed.
Structural Fill backfilled and compacted. All work completed per project plans and
specifications. Remediated.
UG#6531: A Cat excavator removed shot rock in preparation for geogrid subgrade.
Further remediation required.
UG#6455: A Cat excavator removed shot rock in preparation for geogrid subgrade.
Further remediation required.
UG#6470: A Cat excavator removed shot rock in preparation for geogrid subgrade.
Further remediation required.
UG#6471: A Cat excavator filled the open shaft with approximately 587 cubic yards of
onsite material compliant with the coarse shaft backfill specification in preparation for a
concrete plug. Further remediation required.
Underdrain System:
Primary Underdrain: Complete.
Secondary Underdrain: None.
Tertiary Underdrain: None.
Leak Detection:
A Cat 740 haul truck, a Cat 308 excavator and a Cat skidsteer placed SLF between stations
HM13+00 to HM20+00 in preparation for leak detection construction. Approximately 500 LF of
leak detection trench was excavated and constructed. Began backfilling completed trench area
to subgrade elevation. All work completed per project plans and specifications.
