February 10, 2016 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE <br />The Fish Creek Borehole Facilities were observed. The site was snow covered. <br />The 15 LT Borehole, 16LT Utility Borehole, WMD Stabilization Borehole site and the 18LT Borehole sites were <br />inaccessible due to snow conditions. <br />The 13LT Outby utility Borehole was observed. It appears the borehole has been drilled the site was snow <br />covered and appeared stable. The Division cited the following issue in the January 2016, inspection report: <br />• The topsoil stockpile adjacent to the borehole pad has been placed on the north east side of the pad instead <br />of the northwest side of the pad as was approved. This issue was discussed with Brian Watterson and <br />Jerry Nettleton. Also the upslope diversion ditch has not been installed. TC must complete the following: <br />• TC must submit a minor revision to update Exhibit 49DD Figure F-1 and Map 46DD-F1 of the permit <br />to depict the topsoil stockpile locations as they have changed from what was approved. <br />• Install the upslope diversion ditch. <br />The 6MN Ventilation Shaft area was observed. New compressors are staged at the site waiting to be installed per <br />MR294. The site was snow covered. <br />The 5MN Cement Borehole site was observed. The area was snow covered but appeared stable. <br />The road to the Fish Creek Tipple area was plowed. The former tipple area was covered in deep snow and the <br />pond was inaccessible. <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: <br />1.
