DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION
A. Access. Show on a map(USGS quadrangle map or a National Forest map,for example)the claim boundaries,if applicable,and
all access needs such as roads and trails, on and off the claim. Specify which Forest Service roads will be used, where
maintenance or reconstruction is proposed, and where new construction is necessary. For new construction, include construction
specifications such as widths, grades, etc., location and size of culverts, describe maintenance plans, and the type and size of
vehicles and equipment that will use the access routes.
The site lies approximately 10 miles northwest of the town of Divide,Colorado, along route#51.Take Road#51 to the 4
way intersection at the Trail Creek Road.Continue northwest on F.R.#360 for 0.8 miles to an unmarked dirt road on the
south, take south directed dirt road for 0.6 miles. This unmarked existing dirt road is 10 ft at its narrowest and
approximately 0.6 miles in length This unmarked existing dirt road dead-ends on top of small ridge within the mining
claim adjacent to the Double Eagle. This unmarked dirt road travels through the Double Eagle claim. No new roads will
be needed to access the claim and no new roads will be required for this exploration effort. The excavator will be moved
overland to access the three target areas.
See attached USGS 7.5 minute Hackett Mountain quadrangle with inset showing approximate claim boundaries in black
and route to daim in red.
B. We are planning to dig three exploration trenches,as marked on the map.The trenches will be
approximately 20 feet wide by 20 feet deep and 100 feet in length;a total disturbance of less than 0.5 acres. There is
currently no plan to remove any existing trees as the claim contains far spaced ponderosa trees that we can dig in-
between. If any trees present a safety hazard during the operation they will be removed.
Operators will be camping on-site,proximal to dig areas,as noted on attached map.Potable chemical toilets will also be
kept proximal to the camping area and waste will be disposed of daily.Campsite location will be approximately:
N 39.01773 W 105.28795
There are no known streams, ephemeral or perenial,on the site.
Ifmore space is needed NA ons a block of hfo, mefoa, ase additional sheers and Medi for*
