January 5, 2016 C-1996-083/13owie No. 2 Mine JDM <br />requirement of Rule 4.10.4(4) for 0.2 acres of Gob Pile 91 where the slope was identified as being greater than 2:1. <br />Gob Pile #1 was snow covered. <br />Gob Pile 92 <br />Gob Pile 42 was snow covered with a heavy amount of snow. No activities were on-going during the inspection <br />due to the weather. Gob material had been windrowed in the area on the east side of the pile and was very stable <br />and snow covered with no issues. Snow had been removed near the area of windrowed material. <br />Gob Pile 93 <br />No material was being placed or moved at the time of the inspection. The pile was graded and snow covered. The <br />pile was stable with no evidence of instability or damage. TR -105 was recently approved by the Division to <br />expand the foot print of Gob Pile #3. <br />Gob Pile #4 <br />Reclamation of the west side of Gob Pile #4 is completed. Cover material is placed on the three lower benches <br />that have been backfilled and graded to final configuration. The upper bench remains open for additional refuse <br />placement. Topsoil has been placed and erosion control mat is in place. Gob Pile 44 was snow covered. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />All roads throughout the facilities area were snow packed at the time of the inspection with the exception of the <br />main facilities road and the access road to Gob Pile #2 had been recently cleared. The main facilities road was <br />plowed.
