A <br />metes and bounds survey description is acceptable in lieu of i ownship, Range, and <br />Section. Where available, the street address or lot number(s) shall be given. 1 his <br />intormadon may be available from the County Assessor's office or 0.b. If the <br />Application proposes slopes steeper than 3:1, the uperaior/Applicajit motet include a <br />justification that supports steeper slopes for the propo3ed pojt-brining land awe, and <br />demonstrates compliance with the applicable perrformai,ce atai,dard.2 of bectiun 3.1. <br />Reclamation practices and the Act and Rules have improved since 1994 and slopes steeper than a 3:1 <br />are no longer a Division practice unless approved by a qualified engineer. Start cannot approve graded <br />slopes lett at a 2:1 and the current permit is approved for 3:1. Slopes in unconsolidated material steeper <br />than a 3:1 will require a geotechnical staBility report prior to approval pursuant CRS 34-32.5-116(4)(1) <br />and Rule 6.6. <br />The cross-section map depicting the final reclamation configuration of mine benches and highwalls <br />does not have a scale. Please include dimensions or slope lengths. Also the map says 3:1 slopes while <br />the narrative states 2:1, they need to concur at 3:1. The narrative depicts the majority of the pit floor <br />being even and flat with the country road then a benched highwall terracing up to undisturbed rock. <br />(c) <br />specify the measures Thai will be taken to revegetate the site. if applicable, including: <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />
